Specialist consultations are provided for patients with brain injuries, memory disorders, multiple sclerosis (MS), movement disorders and epilepsy. There is also a multiprofessional team for managing patients with issues related to rehabilitation. Patients are mainly admitted to us by referral from a physician, but we attend also to patients referred to us form emergency services. Client fees A visit to the outpatient clinic carries a fee for an outpatient visit. A fee for serial therapies is carried for serial therapies. See client fees. Telephone services For changing booked times call 02 313 1720 between 9 am and 11 am Mondays through Fridays. For students You will be actively involved as one of the team members at out outpatient clinic. Each team member is responsible for providing you guidance. You will learn about nursing of neurological patients by participating in treatment planning, by providing the treatment and by guiding patients. You will become familiar with how the outpatient clinic operates to the extent of your own interest and the duration of your training period. You will be able to participate in various treatment and examination procedures with the consent of the patients and due consideration of professional confidentiality and protection of the patient’s privacy.
