X-ray and other medical imaging

For some X-ray examinations, you can book an appointment yourself by telephone or via the internet, if the ward or clinic that is treating you has not already booked an appointment for you.

Please do notice that you need a doctor's referral for examinations.

Appointments for examinations in the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology, the Department of Clinical Physiology, the Nuclear Medicine Unit and the PET Centre are always booked through the ward that is treating you.

The Tyks Medical Imaging results group is comprised of three service areas: Clinical Physiology, Nuclear Medicine and PET Imaging, Clinical Neurophysiology and Radiology, and the Medical Physics Service Unit.
