You need a doctor's referral to be admitted. Urgent patients are to be treated without delay. The treatment is planned by the treating physician of the patient at the cytotoxic chemotherapy unit. The primary nurse carries out the planned pharmacotherapy, guides the patient and his/her next of kin and supports the coping of the patient. A support person can accompany you to the physician's practice. Bring along information about the medication you have in use. We are a part of the Tyks operational division of Surgery and Cancer Diseases. Give feedback about our services. Facilities The doctor will see you alone in the treatment room. After that you have the possibility to talk with a nurse in another room. You can bring along a support person. The cytotoxic chemotherapy room is a single large room, but there are two single rooms reserved for special cases. The cytotoxic chemotherapy room is reserved for patients admitted in the hospital only.
