The emergency & automation laboratory of Clinical chemistry serves the outpatient clinics and wards of Tyks, the regional joint emergency, regional hospitals, health centres and private practices 24 hours a day.

The Emergency services in Turku provide service to people who need urgent help because of a sudden illness or accident. The telephone service of the Emergency services and the medical help line are available 24/7.

The Fabry expert team supervises the follow-up of all Fabry patients in Finland. The vision of the Fabry team is to meet each patient at least once a year, either in Turku or in their local hospital.

The Hand Surgery Outpatient Clinic manages patients with bone fractures and ligament wounds of the hand and wrist as well as tumors, repetitive strain injuries and nerve entrapment conditions.

We examine and treat adult patients with hematological (blood) diseases.

At the hematology ward we examine and treat adult patients with hematological (blood) diseases.

We treat and diagnose severe infections. We also treat patients with difficult skin diseases and ulcers.

We are responsible, together with the other internal medicine wards, for the first-phase treatment and examinations of patients with internal diseases.

We offer our patients invasive cardiologic treatment and examination without long waiting times. We perform demanding examination and treatment procedures of the heart, such as coronary angioplasty and cardiac catheterisation.
