We serve children and adolescents under 16 years old in the specialties of paediatric medicine, paediatric surgery and paediatric neurology. In addition we have the Tyks unit for rare diseases. The unit aims at improving the management of paediatric and adult patients with rare diseases. We admit children from all around Finland by a doctor's referral.

The pre-hospital emergency services of the Varsinais-Suomi (southwest) region of Finland consist of emergency patient transport and emergency treatment provided outside hospitals.

At the Paediatric Neurology Outpatient Clinic in Lighthouse Hospital, we study and treat children who have been diagnosed or suspected with a neurological illness or significant developmental delay.
