Neurocenter Rehabilitation Ward
The work at the Neurocenter Rehabilitation Ward focuses on advanced rehabilitation of patients with neurological conditions or diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
Orthogeriatric Rehabilitation Ward
We primarily treat elderly patients in need of demanding hospital rehabilitation. In-patient care is typically caused by a hip fracture or other post-fall injury. Other reasons for the treatment period may include, for instance, limb amputation or artificial joint infection.
Neurogeriatric Rehabilitation Ward
We treat patients in need of rehabilitation and acute geriatric care.
Psychosis Rehabilitation Working Group
Patients living primarily in Turku, aged 18–69 years, are followed-up and supported by the Psychosis rehabilitation working group. The cause for referral for rehabilitation is usually psychotic illness.
