Hospitals and other units

At the day surgery unit we treat patients with injuries and diseases of the hip, knee, ankle, instep, shoulder, elbow and hand.

Outside office hours the regional dental emergency services serves all customers of the municipalities of the wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland.

Our services include dental care, orthodontic treatment, mouth and jaw surgery and facial pain management treatment.

We perform radiotherapy primarily on cancer patients.

We examine and treat rashes, allergies, ulcers as well as skin cancers and their premalignant condition.

The Diabetes Outpatient Clinic, located in the Tyks main hospital, treats mostly patients above 16 years with type 1 diabetes who are on multiple insulin injections or on insulin pump therapy. These patients are treated in collaboration with the local hospitals.

We treat haemodialysis patients who are transferred after the starting phase from the Tyks Kidney Centre to the Tyks Loimaa hospital's dialysis outpatient clinic. The clinic is a satellite unit of Tyks Kidney Centre.

We perform haemodialysis treatment.

We treat patients seven days a week in morning and evening shifts. Our unit has 13 patient beds.

We treat the diseases of the upper gastrointestinal tract and the organs related to it, such as liver, pancreas and spleen and the diseases of the lower gastrointestinal tract, such as diseases of the large intestine and rectum.
