At the Neurosurgical Outpatient Clinic we diagnose surgical conditions of the central nervous system and spine and plan the management and surgery of patients with neurosurgical conditions. We also follow up patients who have undergone neurosurgical procedures.
Patients are referred to us by physicians; acute conditions are managed by emergency services. /p>
The Neurosurgical Outpatient Clinic works daily with two consulting rooms. Preliminary preparation for surgery or for examinations starts at the Neurosurgical Outpatient Clinic with a nurse’s interview and guidance for patients.
Our Clinic is a part of the Neurocenter of the Turku University Hospital.
