Lazaret Museum
The goal of the Turku Lazaret Museum is to record the history of the oldest hospital in Finland, functional without interruptions since 1759, as well as to preserve its equipment and to collect folklore of the hospital. Founded in 1974, the museum turned 50 last year, 30 October 2024.

The services of Tyks Loimaa hospital are used not only by residents of the wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland, but also by residents of other wellbeing services counties living nearby. The hospital serves a population of about 85 000.

Ophthalmology Ward
The bulk of our activity includes pre-examination and post-operative treatment of patients undergoing surgery. As of February 4, 2025, the eye ward is MK8 in the Head Center.
