Lung cancer
Lung cancer is the second most common form of cancer among men and the fourth most common one among women. In all of Finland, the annual number of new cases of lung cancer is around 2,300 and in the area of Southwest Finland around 200.
Lung function tests (for example Spirometry)
Lung function tests are used to diagnose lung diseases (such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). In addition, they are used to evaluate lung function, the effectiveness of medication, work capacity, and fitness for procedures and surgery.
Pulmonary Diseases Outpatient Clinic, T-hospital
We study and treat pulmonary (lung) diseases such as asthma, sleep apnoea and lung cancer.
Pulmonary Diseases Inpatient Ward
We study and treat pulmonary (lung) diseases such as lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and pneumonia.
Paediatric Cardiology Outpatient Clinic
Children and adolescents (0-18 years old) suffering from congenital heart defects, heart conduction and rhythm disorders and cardiac muscle diseases are treated at our ward.
Pulmonary Diseases Outpatient Clinic, Loimaa
We treat, diagnose and monitor pulmonary (lung) diseases.
TC2 radiology
We perform imaging studies, mainly CT scans and traditional X-ray studies.
Paediatric Asthma & Allergy Outpatient Clinic
We treat children with asthma, allergy or other lung diseases.
