The addiction psychiatric ward R1 has 14 patient beds. The ward is a closed psychiatric ward and patients may be treated on the basis of involuntary commitment or voluntarily.

The clinical team for open care psychiatry has the task to help and manage families with addiction problems and patients with dual diagnoses. A dual diagnosis means that the patient has substance or functional addiction and, at the same time, has a serious psychiatric disturbance.

A unit for emergency services for mental illness and addiction problems operates in connection with the joint emergency services. This unit serves patients with sudden mental health crises, other mentally very burdensome situations or crises related to drug addiction.

We administer cytotoxic chemotherapy and other cancer treatments to the oncological patients of our region. In addition, we admit patients visiting for symptomatic treatment and patients visiting for check-ups after treatment.

The outpatient clinic is serviced by a gastroenterologist (specialist physician) and a nurse / IBD-nurse. We treat patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). In addition to patients visiting the outpatient clinic, patients are contacted by telephone.
