Phone, Induction clinic (bookings primarily online if possible): 02 313 1312Our patients are pregnant women whose pregnancy carries specific risks and whose condition requires close monitoring and follow-up.
These risks may include
- preeclampsia (toxemia)
- obstetric cholestasis
- threatened preterm delivery
- twin pregnancy
- preterm rupture of membranes
- induction of labor
During your stay at the ward, midwives and physicians will observe your and your baby’s condition closely. You also have the opportunity to consult a social worker, a psychiatric nurse, or a hospital chaplain.
The ward also provides some outpatient clinic services, including external cephalic version and labor induction. Induction clinic appointments are primarily booked online, but if this is not possible, please call 02 313 1312 between 12 noon and 1 PM on weekdays.
