These risks may include preeclampsia (toxemia) obstetric cholestasis threatened preterm delivery twin pregnancy preterm rupture of membranes induction of labor During your stay at the ward, midwives and physicians will observe your and your baby’s condition closely. You also have the opportunity to consult a social worker, a psychiatric nurse, or a hospital chaplain. The ward also provides some outpatient clinic services, including external cephalic version and labor induction. Induction clinic appointments are primarily booked online, but if this is not possible, please call 02 313 1312 between 12 noon and 1 PM on weekdays. Client fees Depending on your visit, a clinic fee or a daily inpatient fee will be charged. More information about client fees. Visits You may receive visitors daily between 9 am and 9 pm. If needed, your spouse or support person may stay at the ward overnight. For students Training, teaching and guidance As a student you have the opportunity to practice how to plan and provide care together with your mentor. We provide care to women with high-risk low-risk pregnancies and their families. As a student, you will learn how to support and guide pregnant women experiencing various pregnancy complications. Encountering families in crisis situations requires particular sensitivity. As your training progresses, you will gradually be able to act independently of your mentor but with her/his support. Before your training period We work in three shifts and we hope that you plan your shifts in accordance with the shifts of your mentor. There are 10 single patient rooms and 4 double patient rooms. The single rooms can be turned into family rooms.
