Persons who have or who are suspected of having a mental health disorder, and who
- exhibit violent behaviour and threats thereof (including sexual violence)
- are difficult to treat
- have a criminal background
- are returning from state mental hospitals (observation period)
- experience child-oriented sexual thoughts.
How do patients access treatment?
Patients access treatment on the basis of a doctor's referral or through contact between the various cooperation partners.
Parties involved in working as part of the team
Patients are treated by a multidisciplinary team consisting of doctors, a psychologist and nurses. If necessary, a social worker will also participate in the assessment of the patient's situation and their treatment.

Our treatments take the following forms, among others:
- consultations
- psychological examinations
- risk assessments
- assessment visits
- treatment relationship work.
An anonymous helpline for anyone concerned about their own potential criminal behaviour
People who are concerned that they may commit an act punishable by law, such as a sexual offence (especially against children), a violent crime (including against animals), arson or a school killing.
Contact can be made anonymously. The contact will lead to an assessment of the need for assistance. If necessary, a meeting with a multidisciplinary team can be arranged quickly.
The service is intended for people of all ages living in the wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland.
Nurses Samu and Salla answer the phone and email on weekdays from 10 am to 12 pm.
