Geropsychiatric unit for intensified open care, Turku
The purpose of intensified open care is to provide psychiatric specialist care primarily within the context of open care. The unit provides advanced home care as an alternative to psychiatric ward care. Visits to the home of the patient are also made in the evenings at weekends.
Intensified outpatient care for Affective disorders
Intensified outpatient care for mood disorders treats adults who need outpatient care in crisis-type situations and who already have a treatment relationship with the Tyks Mood Disorder Team.
Intensive Psychosis Outpatient Care
Intensive Psychosis Outpatient Care is primarily reserved for inhabitants in Turku aged 18–69 years who have a therapeutic relationship with one of the Psychosis working groups in Tyks Psychiatry. Intensive outpatient care support patients receiving specialized psychiatric health care.
Paediatric Neuropsychiatric Working Group
We examine and treat children below 13 years and their families who need specialized neuropsychiatric care.
Psychiatric Neuromodulation Unit
We provide all neuromodulatory therapies for psychiatric conditions within the Southwest Finland region.
Psychosis Ward P1
Psychosis Ward P1 is a closed acute ward with 14 patient beds. We examine and manage patients aged 18–69 years whose mental condition warrants hospital care. Among the indications for admissions are psychotic symptoms or psychosis.

Psychosis Ward P2 is a closed acute ward with 14 patient beds. We examine and manage patients aged 18–69 years whose mental condition warrants hospital care. Among the indications for admissions are psychotic symptoms or psychosis.

Psychosis Ward P3 is a rehabilitating, closed reception department with 14 beds. We examine and manage patients aged 18–69 years whose mental condition warrants hospital care.
