Please do notice that you need a doctor's referral for examinations. Appointments for examinations in the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology, the Department of Clinical Physiology, the Nuclear Medicine Unit and the PET Centre are always booked through the ward that is treating you.

We serve children and adolescents under 16 years old in the specialties of paediatric medicine, paediatric surgery and paediatric neurology. In addition we have the Tyks unit for rare diseases. The unit aims at improving the management of paediatric and adult patients with rare diseases. We admit children from all around Finland by a doctor's referral.
