Our most important value is that every baby has the right for the parents to be present to provide love and care. We pioneered family centred care in the NICU in Finland. Parents take care of their baby from the very beginning as much as possible.
Clinical team for open care addiction psychiatry
The clinical team for open care psychiatry has the task to help and manage families with addiction problems and patients with dual diagnoses. A dual diagnosis means that the patient has substance or functional addiction and, at the same time, has a serious psychiatric disturbance.
General Hospital Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic
We treat adult patients who are in ward treatment in Tyks and who need psychiatric care.
Emergency Psychiatric Ward A1, Turku
We treat patients who are in many different situations.
Diabetes Outpatient Clinic
The Diabetes Outpatient Clinic, located in the Tyks main hospital, treats mostly patients above 16 years with type 1 diabetes who are on multiple insulin injections or on insulin pump therapy. These patients are treated in collaboration with the local hospitals.
