Internal Medicine Teaching Clinic
The entire spectrum of patients with ailments in the field of internal medicine are examined at the teaching clinic. The teaching clinic is very important for the clinical education and training of medical students.
Hematology Outpatient Clinic, T-Hospital
We examine and treat adult patients with hematological (blood) diseases.
Diabetes Outpatient Clinic
The Diabetes Outpatient Clinic, located in the Tyks main hospital, treats mostly patients above 16 years with type 1 diabetes who are on multiple insulin injections or on insulin pump therapy. These patients are treated in collaboration with the local hospitals.
Rheumatology Outpatient Clinic, Turku
We treat and examine patients with inflammatory rheumatic diseases.
Adolescent Psychiatry Working Group, Salo
We provide treatment to young people with mental problems and their families. The adolescent psychiatry working group in Salo serves also the following municipalities: Salo and Somero.
Access to treatment
Information about access to treatment, i.e. the waiting times, are reported to the Institute for Health and Welfare three times a year: 30 April, 31 August and 31 December.
