Traumatology department

Depending on the visit, an outpatient visit fee or a daily inpatient fee will be charged. Outpatient operations (day surgery) are charged separately. You may find more information on client fees here.

Our department is located in the T-hospital, 4th floor of the D wing.

All patient rooms are equipped with a television set and lockable cabinets for the belongings of each patient.

As a nursing student you will participate in the care of patients under the supervision of a mentor. As a medical student you will participate in patient management under the supervision of physicians.  We expect that all students participate actively and are eager learners.

Training, teaching and guidance

Nursing students are invited to perform various nursing procedures under the guidance and aid of their mentors. We provide opportunities for students to learn the diverse work of multiprofessional teams. There will be regular gatherings at the ward where specific areas of nursing are discussed.

• Management of trauma patients (fractures, burns, spinal injuries etc.)
• Care of different types of wounds
• Nursing of cancer patients
• Encountering acutely ill patients and their families.

Monday to Sunday 13-19 hours (1 to 7 pm).
