Clinical Physiology
We perform studies of the heart, blood circulation, breathing and the digestive tract.
Tyks appointment service
Schedule, view, transfer or cancel appointments in the Tyks appointment service. Please note that the appointment service is only available for some receptions.
Nuclear Medicine Unit
We perform isotope examinations, for example, of bones, the heart, blood circulation and breathing, the urinary tract and the lymphatic system.
Outpatient Clinic for Sexually Transmitted Diseases
We treat and study residents of Southwest Finland who suspect that they have contracted a venereal disease or who are referred to our outpatient clinic by a doctor.
Cancer screening, heredity, diagnosis and treatment planning
Cancer is diagnosed based on the results of screenings or by applying for treatment as a healthcare client. Once cancer has been diagnosed, experts are needed to determine its heredity. Treatment is planned on a multidisciplinary basis, based on the diagnosis.
Clinical neurophysiology service area
We perform diagnostic outpatient examinations of the peripheral and central nervous system, the sensory system and sleep at the Clinical Neurophysiology Unit in the Tyks Lighthouse Hospital and on an emergency basis at different wards in Tyks.
Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Diseases
Our services include dental care, orthodontic treatment, mouth and jaw surgery and facial pain management treatment.
