Division of Psychiatry consists of service area for acute psychiatry and affective disorders, geriatric psychiatry, neuropsychiatry and addiction psychiatry and service area for child psychiatry, adolescent psychiatry and psychoses.

We serve children and adolescents under 16 years old in the specialties of paediatric medicine, paediatric surgery and paediatric neurology. In addition we have the Tyks unit for rare diseases. The unit aims at improving the management of paediatric and adult patients with rare diseases. We admit children from all around Finland by a doctor's referral.
