The patients attending Emergency services are treated in order of urgency. Thus, a patient who has arrived after you may be called on or treated before you.

We are actively researching the implementation and effectiveness of the Close Collaboration with Parents intervention through several evaluation studies in Finland, Estonia and ongoing studies in other countries.

Although we all do our best, patient management may not always go as expected. If you have encountered a hazardous incident during your treatment or if you feel that we have made a mistake, please inform the personnel immediately.

For some X-ray examinations, you can book an appointment yourself by telephone or via the internet, if the ward or clinic that is treating you has not already booked an appointment for you. Please do notice that you need a doctor's referral for examinations. Appointments for examinations in the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology, the Department of Clinical Physiology, the Nuclear Medicine Unit and the PET Centre are always booked through the ward that is treating you.
