Head center ward = ENT, eye and oral diseases ward
We offer inpatient care for patients with eye, mouth, ear, nose and throat diseases. Inpatient care is required, for example, in infections and injuries of the head and neck area and when recovering from an operation.

Hospital as a learning environment
Turku University Hospital (Tyks) operates as a teaching hospital. Tyks offers internship and on-the-job learning periods in accordance with training agreement for students of universities and educational institutions that provide social and health care education. Hundreds of medical, social and health care students practice their skills required in working life in our hospitals yearly.
